KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT
Registration for students beginning Kindergarten in August 2026 will be open soon. Students must turn 5 years old on or before July 31, 2026 to begin school next August.
Step 1
To enroll, parents will need to establish a login with our PowerSchool Enrollment Portal.
Step 2
Once logged onto PowerSchool, please click on the New Student Registration 2026-2027 form to begin the registration process. Please be sure to select the 2026-2027 form, not the 2025-2026 form.
The following items are needed for registration:
- Parent/Guardian ID (driver license, passport or REAL ID card)
- Certified Birth Certificate (state-issued with seal)
- Immunization Records
- Proof of Residency must include parent/guardian name and address printed on the paperwork (water, electric or gas bill no more than 30 days old)
Step 3
Once you have completed the registration form for the 2026-2027 school year, please sign up for an in-person kindergarten screening appointment at the elementary building your student will be attending. Future kindergarteners must be in attendance at these screenings.
In-person kindergarten screening appointments will be offered on the dates listed below. Sign-up forms for each school will be posted here soon—please check back for updates.
Monday, March 9th - Stony Point Elementary
Tuesday, March 10th - Sni-A-Bar Elementary
Wednesday, March 11th - Prairie Branch Elementary
Thursday, March 12th - Matthews Elementary
Step 4
After you complete the online enrollment and sign up for a kindergarten screening appointment, a school representative will reach out to you. If you enroll a new student in the summer, it may be early in August before our staff responds.
Find your child’s assigned school using the School Boundary Map. Enter your address in the magnifying glass in the upper-left corner of the map to see your school’s assignment and boundary information.
