Summer SOAR, our summer school program, will be held from June 3 to June 28, 2024.

Summer SOAR Grain Valley's summer school program is here! There will be multiple class offerings this summer for students of all ages. These enrichment opportunities are offered by teachers in our district and are designed to maximize student engagement, creativity, and collaboration.

Summer SOAR will take place from June 3rd to June 28th and there will be no school on June 19th in celebration of Juneteenth. Students will have the option of bringing their own lunch or eating a school lunch.

Summer school will be held at Prairie Branch Elementary, Stony Point Elementary, and South Middle School for both middle school and high school students.

Hours:
• Elementary (entering Kindergarten - 5th grade): 8:15 am to 2:55 pm
• Middle School (entering 6th grade to 8th grade): 7:30 am to 2:15 pm
• High School (entering 9th grade to 12th grade): 8:00 am to 2:30 pm

Enrollment for Middle School and Elementary Summer SOAR 2024 is currently full.  

Transportation to and from Summer SOAR is the responsibility of the parent. District transportation services are not available. Parent drop-off/pick-up will be at the main entrance. We will offer transportation to and from the high school for those taking part in sports camps.
