Student and Community Services

Every Student. Every Day.

Grain Valley Schools Student and Community Support strives to provide outreach, support, and resources to district families so that students’ social and emotional needs are met, setting them up for success.

School Counselors implement proactive practices to support students’ education. Through social and emotional support, classroom lessons, community connections, and career and academic support, these team members provide essential resources for Grain Valley Schools students.

Bright Futures Grain Valley is a network that engages the community to help meet the basic needs of students within 24 hours. Bright Futures Grain Valley grows partnerships of time, talent, and treasure for the good of our students.

The Student and Community Services team responds to the unique needs of students in transition for such reasons as homelessness or foster care placement.
