The Grain Valley Early Childhood Center is shaping the path to success for all students. Now, the team is being recognized for its efforts to implement Schoolwide Positive Behavior Supports (SW-PBS).
Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support is an evidence-based, early intervention program and has been shown to highlight positive behavior outcomes for students. The organization, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Education, supports 629 schools across the state. Of the 629 schools, only 217 were honored.
Grain Valley Schools is proud to report that the Early Childhood Center has been awarded the Tier 3 Award of Excellence, meaning they have met the criteria for implementing Tier 1, 2, and 3 at exemplary levels.
This Award of Excellence highlights schools that foster incredibly supportive classrooms, leading to better attendance and an enjoyable, focused learning environment for young students.
This award is a testament to the staff at our Early Childhood Education Center and shows that the team has built an exceptionally supportive environment for early childhood development.
