Miss Jamie Black has been named as the assistant principal at Stony Point Elementary School beginning with the 2023-2024 school year. Miss Black currently serves as a kindergarten teacher at Stony Point. She has 8 years of experience overall as a teacher and two summers as a summer school administrator.
Miss Black earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education at Missouri State University and a master’s degree from William Woods University in administration.
This new assignment follows the announcement last month that Mrs. Jessica Reyolds, currently assistant principal of Stony Point, would replace retiring principal Mr. Scott Schmitt next school year.
Mrs. Jessica Reynolds is enthusiastic about Miss Black joining the administrative team at Stony Point next school year. Mrs. Reynolds commented, “Miss Black brings her love for all students into this next role. Her ability to build strong relationships with students, families and staff will continue to serve her well as assistant principal.
