Mr. Casey DeLoach has been named principal of Sni-A-Bar Elementary School beginning with the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. DeLoach is currently in his sixth year as assistant principal at Sni-A-Bar and previously taught elementary school in the Independence School District. He has 18 years of experience overall as a teacher and administrator.
Mr. DeLoach earned a bachelor's degree and master’s degree at the University of Central Missouri and is currently working on his Doctorate of Education Degree (EdD) from St. Louis University.
This new assignment follows the announcement last month that the current principal of Sni-A-Bar Elementary School, Dr. Carrie Reich, is transitioning into the role of Director of Student Services.
Superintendent Dr. Brad Welle is enthusiastic about Mr. DeLoach taking the lead at Sni-A-Bar Elementary next school year. Dr. Welle commented on Mr. DeLoach’s transition from assistant to lead principal saying, “Mr. DeLoach is well-known for his contribution to the success at Sni-A-Bar Elementary and it is a natural step to have him take the lead of the school. He is a strong advocate for the success of each student and has established a positive rapport with students and families, and Sni-A-Bar is in great hands under his leadership.”
