Mr. Anthony Hile has been named as an assistant principal at Grain Valley High School beginning with the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Hile currently serves as an assistant principal at Raytown South Middle and previously taught social studies for ten years at Raytown High School. He has 15 years of experience overall as a teacher and administrator.
Mr. Hile earned a bachelor's degree at Northwest Missouri State University, a master’s degree from Baker University in curriculum and instruction, and a specialist degree from the University of Central Missouri-Warrensburg in administration.
This new assignment follows the announcement last month that Dr. Drew Smith, currently assistant principal of GVHS, would replace retiring principal Dr. Jeremy Plowman next school year.
Dr. Drew Smith is enthusiastic about Mr. Hile joining the administration at GVHS next school year. Dr. Smith commented, “Mr. Hile will be a great addition to our high school team. He comes to us with new ideas and experiences that will help us to continue to grow our academic excellence and strong student culture.”
