For Middle-School Level Students (Entering Grades 6-8)
June 3 - June 28 (June 19 is a holiday, so there will be no summer school)
7:30 am-2:10 pm daily (breakfast available at 7:15)

***We will offer shuttles to and from the other schools for GVSD sports camps.

Dear Parents,

It is time, once again, to enroll your student for our SOAR Summer Program!  This year, we have a  VERY wide variety of class offerings.  These enrichment opportunities are offered by some of the BEST teachers in our district, and are designed to maximize student engagement, creativity, and collaboration.  

Please take the time to look through the descriptions for each class.  If you plan on enrolling, please submit the Google form by Friday, April 12.  After this date, students who enroll may be placed on a wait list based on student response and building capacity.

Middle school students will switch classes during the day, much like the normal middle school experience.  
Here is a link to the courses that have been proposed this summer: Middle School Course Offerings.  As families fill out the enrollment form, they can indicate which courses they are the most interested in.  The most popular courses will be officially offered during summer school.  In a typical summer, 5-8 of these classes are offered.  The more students who enroll in summer school, the more classes we can offer!

We will send out student schedules the last week of regular school.  The last day of school is currently scheduled as May 23.
