Guided by the Grain Valley Schools Vision—"We are determined to be the best model of student success, whose graduates are prepared to excel in a complex world"— Portrait of a Eagle defines the essential skills and attributes the district is committed to developing in all students. These employability skills were identified through a collective effort, collaborating with staff, families, community members, and district administration. They focus on equipping graduates with the timeless skills necessary for success in any situation.

  • We work effectively in an environment of uncertainty and change.
